What Gets You There?

Thrill (n):

  1. A sudden wave of keen emotion or excitement, sometimes manifested as a tremor or tingling sensation passing through the body.
  2. Something that produces or is capable of producing such a sensation.
  3. A vibration or quivering.

It’s a new era, and the game has changed. No doubt; and because of this, I must confess that I have reached a higher state in my life to be able to verbally “go at the world” with All my opinions. That’s right, giving it to the world Raw (as you horn-dogs would say).

As of 2010, people are expressing themselves to the world like they never have before.  For example, you have your homosexuals who have been strong for quite sometime now, letting it be known that their rights will be recognized, and [their rights] are starting to take full effect :). Then you have the heated topic of sex, on the other hand. Ladies are giving it up for verified Twitter accounts, VIP entrance/treatments in clubs, and to even be facebook buddies with their favorite rapper….how wack. But hey, I won’t hate. I always say, don’t give it up for free. Make it worth wild! …whatever floats your boat. Which leads me to my biggest point of all today!! Yay!

The question of the day is: Is seeking your thrill, in particular, a shameful thing to do?

There are so many different answers that I have in my head for this question, but I will try to keep it as simple as possible; but of course, answers will vary, depending on what exactly gets you off, and whether or not you want to incorporate religiously speaking. I don’t like to base all my decisions on religion due to the fact that it’s too broad. I’d rather look at the “right now, this world” aspect of it. But anyway, let’s face it, EVERYONE has thrills, whether they choose to act upon them or not is solely their independent decision. But seeking your thrill however, is an excellent way to life, in proportions. Too much of anything can be pitiful, and subject to something horrible, later. But let me not get it twisted for all you sick heads out there, I do not condone the behavior of pedophiles, rapist, murderers, etc. That sort of thrill is unlawful (really unlawful, and sad).

I get off on lots of materialistic things; I don’t know why I just do. Like expensive cars, everything about fashion to the simplicity of its art, to the man-made expression of a simple personality. I have to stay in a salon prepping myself for hair, eyebrows, waxing, etc., and a lot more (I could go all day but I don’t want to get too excited in the making of this piece). I get off on pretty things…like pink Prada party invitations, LA sunsets, Malibu beaches, and Houses in the hills that sit right on top of an amazing view. The kind of view that makes you feel like your already on top.

I don’t get off on money, although my motto is to make it, daily. I get off on the things money can buy. But what gets me off like no other is Success. Succeeding in life after you’ve encountered all your haters, and maybe even financial issues is an amazing feeling; and it gets better once you’ve reached bigger goals. I am a walking example of success, and it feels damn good.

So there you have it, Live your Life by all means!! And don’t be ashamed of all your imperfections, instead of trying to change them embrace them for now; and as you get older, they [your thrills] will eventually change, or go away on their own. Express YOU, do YOU, and remember, in your one life to live its ALWAYS ABOUT YOU.
